Animals you'll see on Safari in Zambia
The wildlife experience in Zambia is spectacular. Zambia is one of the few countries left in the world where development and tourism haven't destroyed the real wilderness of nature. The wildlife observed on Zambian excursions to South Luangwa National Park and Kafue National Park are breathtaking and wild. Some of the time that means that you need to compromise on comfort but that is where Ntanda Ventures support comes in. As a local expert we know how to show you the wildlife of Zambia with the level of comfort you are looking for.
While we can't guarantee which animals you will see there are plenty of lions, wild dogs, hyena's, giraffes, elephants, zebra, monkeys, herds of buffalos, different species of antelope and birds and in some cases Rhinos.
It's guaranteed that a Women mighty victoria falls Safari holiday to Zambia involves amazing encounters with wild animals in authentic African bushland.
How to prepare for your African safari adventure
Some of the most important things you need to know about Women Safaris in Zambia are that it is better to pack light, bring your own water bottle that we will refill for you when you want and favorite snacks you can't live without. For the rest Ntanda Ventures will make sure you will have everything you need and please always ask if you want or need something, we are there for you.
There maybe a lot of driving involved in your safari and then the Zambian sun can be very hot during the day. We advise you to wear cotton and long sleeves. We suggest some brown paper bags for the things we can’t flush down the toilet.
A sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are also a must. Comfortable shoes are essential for all the walking you will be doing while on a walking safaris. If you want to take pictures of the stunning nature and wildlife, bring a good camera with lots of memory space, extra batteries and maybe a tripod.
Try to keep your packing to a minimum as luggage allowance on some internal flights only allow 15kg in soft bags.

The best time of year to visit Zambia for a safari
The best time to visit Zambia is between the months of May through October. It is the dry season and animals are easier to spot because they come out in search of water. The weather is also cooler June-August, making a walking safari and hiking more comfortable for visitors who may be less acclimated to heat than locals. April, November and December are our favourite months – these month’s end and the beginning of the rains so you may get short, warm showers which settles the dust and bring some relief from the heat at the end of the year.
TIA -This is Africa
This is Africa so there maybe slight changes to an itinerary but we will always keep you updated.
Stop your clock and get into the wild. Some places operate on solar or no power so this is not the right the place for hairdryers etc. Let your hair down and go wild.
