Parkinson's disease is the most widespread neurological illness in the world and the number of new cases in Africa is rapidly increasing. There is a general lack of knowledge about Parkinson's disease on the continent, as well as many people who are misinformed or uninformed about it. There is a lack of informational and educational materials in local African languages, which limits affected people's ability to make proper health decisions.
3 nights Kafunta River Lodge (day and night drives) and 2 nights at Island Bush Camp ( walking safari only) OR Three Rivers Camp (all activities). In South Luangwa National Park the friendly staff of Kafunta will greet you upon your arrival. We promise thrills and relaxation like nowhere else. With amazing animal viewing from the lodge deck, the wilderness excitement of Island Bush Camp or one-of-a-kind sleepouts with incredible views at Three Rivers Camp! All three lodges are in beautiful settings and receive personalized service. It's a great time to unwind with a beverage on the banks of the Luangwa River and enjoy excellent birdwatching. We recommend the project and textile tour and Don't forget to pick up some Zambian hand crafted products while you are here.

Choose from game drives, walking, fishing and boat cruises or opt for a complimentary night in a Star bed at Busanga.
Charter flights from Kafue to Lower Zambezi National Park and stay at the magnificent Royal Zambezi lodge on the banks of the Zambezi. Each luxury chalet tent is tucked within natural bush surroundings and the indigenous vegetation which will ensure visits to camp by the elephants. You may go on an unrivaled range of excursions with open safari vehicles, such as day and afternoon/night game drives, sunset safari cruise, walking safaris, or the signature experience -DNA- do nothing at all and canoeing. The Lower Zambezi safari is also a well-known destination for excellent tiger fishing ( catch and release only).

“My husband, my best friend and my rock supported and encouraged me to start Ntanda Ventures in 2013. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2016. I have seen him face many obstacles in life but the mental and physical challenge upon his body and mind is the hardest of all of them. During the Covid pandemic, we learned how tough life must be for patients who don't have access to any help or medical advice. We are thankful that he has some medical insurance, for the wonderful people and the amazing support we have received on his journey. Please assist us to help other parkinson's sufferers in Africa who do not have the same advantages that we do.”
